Fire Extinguisher Trainer - The TUTOR

Train the proper use of fire extinguishers in a safe, effective and environmentally acceptable manner. The Dräger TUTOR provides two available flame sizes for varying training stages. Various props are available to mount on the TUTOR.

Fire extinguishing training (manual fire extinguisher)

Draeger's TUTOR fire extinguisher Training Simulator provides for an excellent set-up to safely practice the use of manual fire extinguishers. The task is to extinguish gas-fired flames in a fire pan. The success of the extinguishing action is being determined by the trainer who switches the fire on and off.

Safe training conditions

​Every fire training pan is equipped with a teathered remote control with emergency cut-off switch. 

Each unit is inspected and tested. The Tutor is assembled under factory approval of CSA International, a recognized 3rd party authority (Certificate of Compliance no. 1811189). For more information visit: www.csa-international.org.

Fire scenarios (available props)

​Fire training pans been specifically designed for training with manual fire extinguishers. 

The training unit enables the realistic simulation of a multitude of fire scenarios of different fire categories with gas. Different mockups are available to simulate fires, for example:

• Flammable storage locker

• Stove top
